2026 ACM Awards Winners, Ella Langley’s Historic Wins

Ella Langley made history at the 2026 ACM Awards, winning all seven awards for which she was nominated.

On Sunday, May 17, the 61st Annual Academy of Country Music Awards took place in Las Vegas. Shania Twain hosted the show on Amazon Prime Video.

Somewhat surprisingly, Megan Moroney led the field with nine nominations, followed by Miranda Lambert with eight, and Ella Langley and Lainey Wilson with seven each.

A clean sweep is rare at the ACMs, but Langley pulled it off, continuing her incredible past year and a half that has seen her become one of the biggest stars in popular music.

Langley won all five of her categories, but she picked up two extra awards for being the songwriter and producer of “Choosin’ Texas,” which won Single of the Year and Song of the Year. Unlike most award shows, the ACMs give additional trophies to the songwriters and producers, even if they are the performing artist as well. That’s a weird technicality, one that other shows like the Grammys do not follow.

Langley wasn’t nominated for Entertainer of the Year, however. That award went to Cody Johnson.

Langley’s seven wins are a new single-night record at the ACMs. The previous record of six wins was shared by Garth Brooks, Faith Hill, and Chris Stapleton. Of course, Langley was helped by the fact that there are now more categories than there used to be, including Artist-Songwriter of the Year, which she won.

At the 2025 ACMs, Wilson and Langley dominated, winning four trophies apiece, with Wilson taking home Entertainer of the Year.
