The BRIT Awards, the British equivalent of the Grammys, take place on February 28 in Manchester. The BRITs mostly honor British acts, but they also have categories for international artists.
The 2026 BRIT nominations showcase a blend of established stars and breakthrough talent from around the world. British artists Olivia Dean and Lola Young lead the pack with the most nominations apiece, including Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and genre-specific honors. Sam Fender and Lily Allen also feature prominently.
Meanwhile, a diverse roster of international acts — from Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga to Doechii — compete in the global categories. The big winner at the 2026 Grammys, Bad Bunny, is also nominated at the BRITs.
Critics’ Choice has already been awarded to Scottish singer-songwriter Jacob Alon, while Songwriter of the Year has been awarded to Oasis’ Noel Gallagher.
Mark Ronson is receiving the Outstanding Contribution to Music award, which is the BRITs’ Lifetime Achievement Award. Ronson is known for working with Amy Winehouse on smash hits like “Rehab,” and for collaborating with Bruno Mars on “Uptown Funk.” Both tracks won Record of the Year at the Grammys.
Confirmed performers for the broadcast include Harry Styles, Rosalia, Olivia Dean, and Wolf Alice.
