Best Rock Performance was a Grammy category created in 2012. It combined two previous categories, Best Solo Rock Performance and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group, which were merged to form this new award.
The Foo Fighters are the only act so far to win this award twice. Alabama Shakes’ Brittany Howard has the most career nominations.
