Rapper Flo Rida may have been a bit out of place at tonight’s 2012 Premios Juventud – the Teen Choice Awards for the Spanish-speaking world – but he didn’t show it during his live performance, when he strung together a medley of his recent hits “Whistle,” “Good Feeling” and “Wild Ones.”
Sia was not in the house to help out on “Wild Ones,” but Flo Rida’s backup singer filled in just fun as he got the crowd bouncing. He had a live band behind him, which is admirable, since many rappers would just play with a prerecorded backing track.
Is there another rapper who gets the party started like Flo Rida? His latest album, also called “Wild Ones,” debuted at #14 on Billboard and #1 in Canada.
